Health- On September 16, the Senate approved, by voice vote, a resolution, S. Res. 242, celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Office of Research on Women’s Health at the National Institutes of Health.
Veterans- On September 17, the House Veterans Affairs Committee passed, by voice vote, several bills, including the Female Veterans Suicide Prevention Act (H.R. 2915).
Abortion- On September 17, the House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Health held a hearing, “Protecting Infants: Ending Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Providers Who Violate the Law.”
