This week, the Senate continued its consideration of the Agriculture Reform, Food, and Jobs Act, also known as the Farm Bill (S. 954). The Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee approved the legislation on May 14; the House Agriculture Committee approved its version of the Farm Bill, the Federal Agriculture Reform and Risk Management Act (H.R. 1947), on May 16 (see The Source, 5/17/13).
The Senate is expected to vote on the measure during the week of June 10.
