Floor Action:

The Senate is in session this week.

The House has a committee work period and does not have any scheduled votes.

Mark-Ups:

Employment- On Wednesday, the House Education and Labor Committee will mark up H.R. 2062, the Protecting Older Workers Against Discrimination Act.

Health- On Tuesday, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions will mark up several bills, including S. 1675, the Maternal Health Quality Improvement Act; S. 1491, the Rural Maternal and Obstetric Modernization of Services Act; and S. 1658, the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections for Nursing Mothers Act.

On Wednesday, the House Education and Labor Committee also will consider H.R. 3110, the Providing Urgent Maternal Protections for Nursing Mothers Act.

Hearings:

Family Support- On Wednesday, the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Nutrition, Oversight, and Department Operations will hold a hearing, “The Future of SNAP: Moving Past the Pandemic.”
