Budget- This week, the House and Senate may consider the FY2016 Budget conference report.
Human Trafficking- The Senate is likely to consider the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act (S. 178).
Health- The Senate also is likely to consider the Medicare and CHIP Reauthorization Act (H.R. 2).
Appropriations- On Wednesday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Military Construction, Veterans’ Affairs, and Related Agencies will mark up the FY2016 Military Construction, Veterans’ Affairs, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered).
Sexual Harassment- On Tuesday, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will hold a hearing, “DOJ IG: Handling of Sexual Harassment and Misconduct Allegations.”
Veterans- On Tuesday, the House Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs will hold a hearing on the Ruth Moore Act (H.R. 1607), a bill to improve the disability compensation evaluation procedure of the secretary of Veterans Affairs for veterans with mental health conditions related to military sexual trauma.
International- On Wednesday, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee will hold a hearing, American Food Aid: Why Reform?”
