Child Protection– On Monday, the House is scheduled to consider S. 474, the Report Act, to strengthen reporting to the Cyber Tipline related to online sexual exploitation of children.
Hearings:
Indian Affairs– On Wednesday, the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs will hold a hearing to examine S.465, to require Federal law enforcement agencies to report on cases of missing or murdered Indians. This bill addresses human trafficking and violence against Indians, including, sexual assault case of interest to Indian Tribes.
Reproductive Health– On Thursday, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee will hold a hearing to examine what Congress can do to address the severe shortage of minority healthcare professionals and the maternal health crisis.
