Congressional Schedule: July 21-25, 2025 

Floor Action: The House and Senate are in session. 

Mark-Ups: 

Appropriations- On Monday, the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government is scheduled to mark up the FY2026 Financial Services and General Government spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered). The legislation includes funding for women-owned business programs at the Small Business Administration.   

On Thursday, the House Appropriations Committee will mark up the FY2026 Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered). The measure will likely include funding for programs to combat violence against women. 

Also on Thursday, the Senate Appropriations Committee will mark up the FY2026 Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, and Related Agencies spending bill (as-yet-unnumbered). This measure likely includes funding for housing programs for domestic violence and sexual assault as well as affordable housing for women with dependents.  

Veterans- On Wednesday, the House Veterans Affairs’ Committee will mark up several bills, including H.R. 2148, The Veteran Caregiver Reeducation, Reemployment, and Retirement Act.
