Appropriations- This week, the Senate may consider a package of FY2020 spending bills, including the Defense; Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies; Energy and Water; and State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs bills.
Miscellaneous- On Wednesday, the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will mark up several bills, including H.R. 135, the Federal Employee Antidiscrimination Act; H.R. 1252, a bill to designate the Marilyn Monroe Post Office; H.R. 1526, a bill to designate the Eva G. Hewitt Post Office; H.R. 1972, a bill to designate the Jeannette Rankin Post Office Building; and H.R. 2151, a bill to designate the Senior Chief Petty Officer Shannon M. Kent Post Office.
STEM- On Tuesday, the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Subcommittee on Aviation and Space will hold a hearing, “Building NASA’s Workforce of the Future: STEM Engagement for a 21st Century Education.”
