Congress Passes Third Continuing Resolution

On December 13, the House approved, 385-27, H.J. Res. 69, a continuing resolution to fund government programs and the District of Columbia at FY2007 levels until December 21, 2007. The same day, the Senate passed the resolution by unanimous consent. President Bush signed the resolution into law on December 14. The previous continuing resolution (P.L. 110-92) expired on December 14 (see The Source, 11/9/07).
