Miscellaneous- On Tuesday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 540, a bill to designate a United States Postal facility in Fairport, New York as the Louise and Bob Slaughter Post Office.

Violence Against Women- On Wednesday, the House is scheduled to consider H.R. 1585, the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act.

Mark-Ups:

Crime- On Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee will consider S. 820, the Debbie Smith Act of 2019.

Hearings:

Military- On Tuesday, the House Armed Services Subcommittee on Military Personnel is scheduled to hold a hearing, “Examining the Role of the Commander in Sexual Assault Prosecutions.”

STEM- On Wednesday, the Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to hold a hearing, “Trailblazers and Lost Einsteins: Women Inventors and the Future of American Innovation.”

Violence Against Women- On Tuesday, the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee will hold a hearing, “Reauthorizing the Higher Education Act: Addressing Campus Sexual Assault and Ensuring Student Safety Rights.”
