On December 13, the House approved, 417-1, S. 384, a bill to extend until December 15, 2015, the United States Postal Service’s authority to issue a semipostal stamp to raise funds for breast cancer research. The Senate approved the measure on December 5 (see The Source, 12/9/11). The president is expected to sign the legislation into law.
