On July 27, the House approved, 308-114, the FY2010 supplemental spending bill (H.R. 4899). The Senate approved the measure on July 22 (see The Source, 7/23/10). The president is expected to sign the legislation into law.
The measure provides $58.8 billion for ongoing operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, domestic and international disaster relief, and the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
