On May 20, the House passed, by voice vote, S. 3029, a bill to extend until May 20, 2009, programs under the Small Business Act (P.L. 85-536) and the Small Business Investment Act (P.L. 85-699). The Senate passed the bill on May 15 (see The Source, 5/16/08).
The current extension (P.L. 110-136) expires on May 23.
