On May 15, the Senate approved, by unanimous consent, S. 3029, a bill to extend until May 20, 2009, programs under the Small Business Act and the Small Business Investment Act. Such programs include the Women’s Business Center and Small Business Development Center programs, the National Women’s Business Council, as well as the 8(a), HUBZone, and veterans lending programs.
The current extension (P.L. 110-136) expires on May 23.
