On December 19, the Senate passed, by unanimous consent, H.R. 4253, the Military Reservist and Veteran Small Business Reauthorization and Opportunity Act, after adopting, also by unanimous consent, a substitute amendment by Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) that, among other provisions, would require the associate administrator of the Office of Veterans Business Development at the Small Business Administration to compile and disseminate information on existing business training resources available to women veterans. The House passed the bill on December 6 (see The Source, 12/7/07).
